Bri's DreamPrincess Bri squatted behind a row of tall grass, ankle-deep in the shallows of the lake. With her companions Pick and Scoop, who happened to be pixies, she had come hoping to catch a glimpse of a kelpie one of the many mythical creatures that made their homes in the rivers and lochs of Ireland, and in the imaginations of its people. According to the legends, they were most likely to appear when the mists hovered thick above the water. If it were true, then today was a perfect day for a sighting, because Bri could barely see twenty feet in front of her. Maddie's DreamTwelve-year-old Maddie Grey was being chased by a killer. Sometimes it seemed like a person tall, lean, and darker than shadow but other times it moved like a spider, scaling the walls or scurrying across the ceiling. Sweat pasted Maddies clothes against her skin, and her heart pounded in her ears. Her chest heaved with every breath, and the air was like fire in her throat. She had nicks, cuts, and rug burns all over her body from running and stumbling through her grandmothers old Victorian house. Built sometime in the 1800s, the house harbored its share of sinister secrets and was scary enoughMaddie's Dream

I will continue to use the term Islam to highlight the fact that this article may need to be subjected to further scrutiny to acknowledge that the assessments contained within do not apply universally to anWomen in Islam

The Atheists' DogmaAs much as I respect the minds of men such as Richard Dawkins - whose theory of memetics and applications of Darwin course throughout my personal philosophy - I am forced to separate his ideas from his dogma. His fanatical crusade against religion puts me an ideological odds with him insofar as he is completely unwilling to accept alternative viewpoints. Dawkins clearly demonstrates what I call the Atheists' Dogma. Atheists - and here I am referring to the strong variety - have identified religion as the stuff of Jews and Christians and Muslims, of Hindus and Shintoists and probably to a lesser extent Buddhists. The Atheists' Dogma
